Start with your lodging authorization
DTMO directs travelers TDY to U.S. military installations to book adequate DoD lodging when available. Check your orders and authorization, and ask your approving official how the lodging rules apply before committing to an off-base stay.
If directed lodging is unavailable, retain the documentation issued to you. If you choose other lodging while a directed option is available, reimbursement may be limited. A property’s nightly price alone does not determine your entitlement.
On-base lodging at Randolph

Approximately 25 minutes to Randolph AFB, depending on traffic and the train. This four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home normally hosts just three TDY renters, each with an exclusive-use full bathroom. Enjoy the pool, outdoor kitchen, fiber internet and garage gym.
Both homes include utilities, Wi-Fi, laundry and weekly cleaning in the nightly rate. There is no minimum stay, and dates are flexible for changing orders or training delays. Certain pets are welcome with prior permission.
